1. Preparation method

High-temperature hydrolysis of metal chlorides.

Gas phase metal oxides are mainly nano ultrafine powders prepared by high-temperature hydrolysis of metal chlorides in a high-temperature hydrogen-oxygen flame (1200~2000℃). They mainly include gas-phase nano-titanium dioxide (TiO2), gas-phase nano-alumina (Al2O3), and gas-phase nano-alumina (Al2O3). Nano zirconia (ZrO2), gas phase nano iron oxide (Fe2O3), etc.

2. Raw materials and principles

Raw materials: titanium tetrachloride, aluminum chloride, zirconium chloride, ferric chloride and other metal chlorides; oxygen, hydrogen. Main reaction equation TiCL4 + 2H2 + O2 → TiO2 + 4 HCL 2AlCL3 + 3H2 +1.5 O2 → Al2O3 + 6 HCL ZrCL4 + 2H2 + O2 → ZrO2 + 4 HCL 2FeCL3 + 3H2 +1.5 O2 →Fe2O3 + 6 HCL
